Sort of impulse buy coz need a car for my Melaka road trip… Bought it for 6.8k for 4mths drive. Spent about 1.5k on refresh to repair wear & tear parts
What I like
1. Got good comments from my colleagues whom i brought to JB trip! Good comfy seats at the back & great suspension to soak up the uneven roads in JB
2. Ample space at the back for shopping needs, only activate the 3rd row for my 5&7y/o. Not very suitable for adults for limited legroom
3. Working sliding door on this 14y/o car! Easy for elders & kids to board & alight
4. Nice typical cold Toyota aircon even after so long
5. Panoramic passenger door without B-pillar for ease of ingress & can fold the front seat flat to 'kiat-ka' from 2nd row
6. Deep boot space even with 3rd row up
7. Nice power ratio for this car size, motorbikes left in the dust when i floored at the lights
What I do not like
1. The car name!! Feel like driving a terrorist car…
2. Aircon mode start to go bogus 1 week b4 i sold it off, auto blow legroom hence reduce airflow
3. Nothing much to fault since it's a Toyota

Bought it when it was used, despite being close to 14 years old, it has had zero problems so far, only been to the mechanic's for servicing.
Ride is very comfortable, I fell asleep many times while riding shotgun in this minivan. Soundproofing from wind is excellent, however road noise is noticeable when on PIE or CTE (though this could be due to old tyres)
Vehicle is very spacious, though not as big as Alphard, but it is certainly better than the Wish, and the seats are very comfortable.
Some noticeable bodyroll when doing curves, and the borderless B-pillar is an interesting feature I've never seen before in any other minivan.
What I like
Ride is very comfortable
Little to no wind noise on highway
Seats are very comfortable
Spacious for a minivan of this size
Sliding doors which are good for tight mall carparks
Reliable, has never broken down despite it being close to 15 years old
What I do not like
Road noise soundproofing could be better
Possibly due to age, the interior panels sometimes make squeak noises
Vehicle is quite low, so theres always the problem where the exhaust pipe scrapes the kerb of a carpark stopper
Interior design could be better, feels very plain compared to the Prius+ or Wish

Review
I bought a used Toyota ISIS with about 120,000KM on the clock back in 2018, and I must say my family is extremely happy with this car as it is a massive upgrade over my previous car, a Honda Stream. So far, there have been no problems at all, and as of today it is running close to 200,000KM and still going strong! The engine is smooth and quiet, with average FC at about 13KM/l in mixed conditions (highway and small roads), however putting the pedal to the metal will cause a higher fuel consumption. And is in no way comparable to the swiftness of the Toyota Wish. The legroom is very good for this car, and it is quite quiet in terms of insulation on the highways. Handling is similar to the Wish, but if you are not an experienced driver or learner, you'll find this car to have "Bad handling". Bodyroll is expected, but otherwise handling is good.
What I like
One-sided automatic sliding door
Easy to maintain, since most of its parts are shared with the Estima or Wish
Spacious legroom in the first and second row
It is reasonably quiet on the highway and the road insulation is fair.
Comfortable
Very good fuel consumption for a large MPV like this.
Reliable.
What I do not like
Basic looks,
Low ground clearance, when parking it will make a horrible screeching sound as the exhaust pipe scratches against the stopper
Not much features to shout about, its a practical minivan.
Unable to compare to newer vehicles which have multiple airbags, unlike this model which comes with only 2 or 3 airbags. (one left door airbag only)

My sister has one and she has good things to say about it. The price is the biggest consideration. The arms are pathetic though unless you are so skinny. The space is decent but not same class as the Estima. This is a poor man's Estima!
What I like
The price could be gotten way cheaper than my sister had! Shop around! This is a good reliable minivan.
What I do not like
It has been said to be one of the ugliest minivans from Toyota. Personally the Proton Juara is the top in this department. Cornering is as so so only like the Toyota Wish. The driving experience is way behind the Camry or the new Prius.

More comfortable & spacious than a Wish or Stream.
Despite being a mini-van, the ISIS drives & handles like a car, expected body roll in tight corners but the road holdng feel is confident.
Like the Lexus & Mark X, the ISIS's chassis was design & built by Kanto Auto Works, well known for quality & comfort.
Top grade G model has 2 powered sliding doors & powered tail gate, and Platana is the sporty version. 2-ltr 4WD models is rare & expensive.
A new varient with Valvematic engine is coming soon.
The ISIS makes an excellent family car
What I like
Spacious, quiet & comfortable.
Very sharp steering respond.
Small turning radius makes parking or U-turning a breeze.
Good fuel economy
What I do not like
Soft suspension
LX & X trim models has only left powered-door
Old-tech 4AT
Air-con takes a while more to cool the last roll's passenger
Brake pads got no wear-indicator

Review
Having owned this car for the past 5 months, we find that it is a value buy. Great value for money! Fuel economical yet powerful although the body weights heavier than Toyota Wish with the same engine. It is sure a Must Recommend to people who are looking for an affordable family car.
What I like
Absence of B-pillar makes loading and unloading especially bulky and long items easier. Good fuel consumptions is an additional benefit of owning this car. At 1.8 L, it still manage to hit an average 12.5 km/l for mixed condition driving in Singapore(normal road and highway). Travel to Malaysia is even better, at 16 km/l, we can travel directly from Skudai to Penang without having to top-up the tank,(journey from Skudai Toll till Penang Bridge outlet at Jalan Masjid Negeri is about 657km)and still have about 1/8 tank before the light indicator lights up. Please noted that, there are about 8 litres of fuel to spare start countimg from when the indicator lights up. Spacious. Sliding door is a lot more handy than "open" door specially in tight areas. The automated sliding door function allows the passenger to alight and board on easily even with hands full of things.
What I do not like
It would be better if there is another power door at the right-hand side. Additional Air-cond outlet especially at the back of the car will be an additional selling point.

Review
I have owned this car of mind for 7 month, and it is a perfect car for average income family looking for MPV at this range. As what have described in the Editorials, the absence of the B pillar on the passenger side of the car with the power sliding rear door, you can almost carried any thing that is as long as the interior lenght.
What I like
Huge amongst 1.8L ranges and fuel consumption is about 12.5 km/l. You can travel from JB to Ipon without stopping. Interior is spacious and you can configured the seats untill you can sleep like a mobile bed. Worth the money for getting this car.
What I do not like
Only left side with powered silding door. Will be better if both side the same.

Sliding door is good for those who wants to put a baby car seat. engine is the same as wish. 1 litre of petrol could run an average of 12-14km. Space is bigger than stream and wish.
