BMW has presented its latest lighting development, known as BMW Laserlights. Aimed at enhancing visibility at night, the new feature produces a luminous intensity 10 times greater than conventional light sources.
Besides providing better night visibility, the new device is also small in size and requires only a tiny reflector, thus, has significant weight saving potential.
It is also more efficient, boasting 30 percent energy savings over conventional sources, lasts longer and is highly reliable - even in extreme conditions.
BMW also claims that the feature will open a new scope for design idiom. For instance, the flat design will allow for better aerodynamics.
BMW Laserlights will make their world premiere in the later part of this year.
