Munich Automobiles has announced that it will be the first Alpina dealer in South East Asia. The location of this announcement was also nothing short of amazing. Two cars were showcased at Reignwood Hamilton Scotts - Asia's first high rise residence with en-suite sky garages - further elevating Alpina as a highly exclusive brand that excels in both luxury and high driving performance.
Exhibited there was the BMW Alpina B3 Biturbo as well as the flagship BMW Alpina B7 Biturbo. Mated to a SWITCH-TRONIC eight-speed Sport Automatic Transmission, the former sports a 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder powerplant that churns out a massive 410bhp and a mountain-moving 600Nm of torque, allowing the car to finish the century sprint in a respectable 4.2 seconds. All these are done without compromising on efficiency. The B3 has a consumption of 7.6L/100km while emitting just 177g/km of CO2.
The B7, on the other hand, has a 4.4-litre V8 engine residing under the hood. Alos mated to a similar transmission as the B3, this car is capable of 540 German horses and an astronomical 730 twisting force, giving the car more than adequate capability to dash across the 100km/h mark in just 4.6 seconds. Fuel consumption for the flagship is 9.9L/100km while emitting just 230g/km of CO2. Both cars are fitted with 21-inch shoes.
Officially recognised as an automobile manufacturer in 1983, the close collaboration between Alpina and BMW allowed the exclusive brand to develop their cars simultaneously with BMW, and is fully approved by BMW. As such, servicing (and any warranty work) can be fully integrated and carried out in the normal way - at an appointed BMW Alpina dealership. Apart from Singapore, Japan is the only other country that holds the Alpina dealership in Asia.

Acknowledging the growing demographic of high performance premium luxury automobile owners in Singapore these past few years, Munich Automobiles is confident that this is the perfect opportunity to offer these super-affluent automobile afficionados with a truly unique and individualistic automotive masterpiece.
"The introduction of BMW Alpina automobiles in Singapore is a significant milestone in our Company's strategy. This represents the continuous step in our long term commitment to bring BMW customers, dedicated and focused experience with the brand," Said Mr. Joel Chang, Executive Director of Munich Automobiles.
Munich Automobiles will offer the full range of bespoke BMW Alpina automobiles like the all new BMW Alpina B3 Biturbo as well as the exclusive range of accessories and apparels at the new BMW facility by the end of the year.
