The eighth such transport hub here, where a bus interchange and MRT station are linked with adjoining commercial developments will open on the 21st of November.

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) said yesterday that commuters who live or work in the Jurong and Tuas areas "can look forward to enhanced connectivity and seamless transfers in air-conditioned comfort" when the Joo Koon transport hub starts operating from the 21st of November 2015, The Straits Times reported.

In a bid to minimise inconvenience and confusion to commuters, bus operations will be implemented in three phases over a period of four weeks, starting with the first tranche on the 21st of November, the second on the 28th of November and the last on the 12th of December.

The Joo Koon transport hub will be served by eight bus services, namely 99, 182/182M, 253, 254, 255, 256, 257 and 258. Of these, 253, 256 and 258 are new, while service 99 is extended to operate between the Clementi and Joo Koon transport hubs. Services 192, 193, 194 and 251 will also be amended, while services 182/182M, 254, 255 and 257 will be relocated from Boon Lay to Joo Koon transport hub.
