After an earlier teaser image, Mazda has officially unveiled the all new 2017 CX-9 at the Los Angeles Motor Show.

The new CX-9 is a stylish, modern crossover with all the styling traits of a modern Mazda, in line with Mazda's KODO - Soul of Motion design aesthetic. With the shield-like grille, narrow headlights and estra embellishments around the fenders, the crossover utility vehicle gains a tougher, more aggressive look.

Inside, the CX-9 has three rows and space for seven passengers, asserting its position as a family vehicle. The interior is also equally attractive with brown Nappa leather and a combination of black and metallic trim.

The CX-9 also gets Mazda's new Skyactiv-G 2.5-litre turbocharged engine, making 250bhp and 420Nm of torque. Coupled with a weight reduction of over approximately 90kg, the CX-9 boasts improvements in driver control, chassis dynamics and performance.

The Mazda CX-9 is scheduled to go on sale in Spring of 2016.
