MINI introduces the John Cooper Works Convertible, offering extreme driving fun and intensive open-air pleasure unique to the small car segment.

The latest version of the MINI John Cooper Works (JCW) Convertible offers the most exclusive way of enjoying extreme driving fun and intensive open-air pleasure.

Power is drawn from a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with MINI TwinTurbo technology, with peak output of 228 bhp (up 10 percent) and 320Nm of torque (up 23 percent). With the standard manual transmission, the JCW Convertible completes the 0-100km/h sprint in 6.4 seconds, and on to a top speed of 241km/h.

The suspension technology set up, based on well-established racing expertise, along with convertible-specific bracing elements guarantees excellent agility and precisely controlled handling in dynamic driving situations.

The exclusive character of the new MINI John Cooper Works Convertible is also reflected in its particularly extensive standard trim. In addition to the fully automatic soft top, standard features on board include full LED headlamps, MINI Driving Modes, Performance Control, and the MINI Connected system with 6.5-inch display, support for app integration, and voice activation.

Combining latest generation engine and suspension technology optimised for use on the race track with distinctive design and equipment features as well as the extensively refined qualities of the new MINI Convertible, the JCW Convertible lends greater fascination to the notion of an open-top four-seater with outstanding sporty performance properties that is still unique in the small car segment.
