Ahead of its Geneva Motor Show debut, Porsche has unveiled the new generation of its iconic mid-engined two-seater, the newly designated 718 Boxster and Boxster S, powered by a newly-developed range of flat four-cylinder turbocharged 'Boxer' engines.

The considerable power gain of 35bhp compared to the previous Boxster models is matched by the impressive efficiency of the new turbo engines, with up to 13 percent improvements in fuel economy.
New suspension tuning and uprated brakes complement the more powerful engines, ensuring the characteristically dynamic and emotive Boxster driving experience remains distinctive.
The exterior design of the new model line has also advanced comprehensively. The vehicle has been completely revised, except for the luggage compartment lids, the windscreen and the powered convertible roof. Inside, a newly-designed dash panel frames the cockpit. In addition, the latest generation of Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with state-of-the-art touchscreen and mobile phone preparation is included as standard.
