For the first half 2016, sales of the Nissan Juke increased by 15 percent as compared to the same period in 2015. More impressively, sales of the Nissan Qashqai increased by 197 percent and sales of the Nissan X-Trail increased by 495 percent during this same period. The total sales of Nissan crossovers have increased by 233 percent. In translation, Tan Chong Motor Sales has successfully sold one Nissan crossover every hour for the first half of this year.
Some key reasons for this, as quoted by customers who bought a Nissan crossover, were excellent drive performance, fuel efficiency and stylish design. In addition, the surge in Nissan crossover sales has also contributed greatly to the growth of Nissan passenger vehicles, which increased by 65 percent to 3,808 units for the first half of 2016.
