Lotus celebrates 50th anniversary of Hethel site with Elise 250 Special Edition

Powered by a high-output, supercharged, 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine, the Elise 250 Special Edition boasts 243bhp at 7,200rpm and 250Nm of torque between 3,500rpm and 5,500rpm. This, along with the car's 899kg kerb weight, contributes to the impressive 270bhp/tonne headline figure.
