The annual Volvo Trucks Fuelwatch Challenge kicks off once again in a series of exciting national competitions across the region to find Asia Pacific's most skilled and fuel-efficient drivers. In Singapore, the local Fuelwatch Challenge, which will be held this Saturday (8th July), will see 42 finalists compete for the title of Singapore's most fuel-efficient driver, and the opportunity to represent Singapore in the Fuelwatch Challenge Final 2017 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Organised by Volvo Trucks, a global leader in innovative transport solutions and fuel efficiency, the Fuelwatch Challenge champions fuel-efficient driving amongst individual drivers, which serves to reduce fuel usage and improve business profitability. The challenge tests truck drivers' skills in fuel-efficient driving and vehicle handling capabilities, and will showcase the best among the trucking community while equipping participants with the skills that take them further not only in the competition but in their careers as well.
Starting at the national level, winners from local competitions will move on to pit their skills against one another in the Fuelwatch Challenge International Final 2017 in Gothenburg, Sweden in September, for the coveted title of 2017's most fuel-efficient driver.
