Set against the iconic skyline of Marina Bay area and nestled in the grand ol' Victoria Concert Hall, the Genesis G80 welcomed a group of special guests for its first congregation. The evening was graced by Mr. Kang Ju-hong, the Deputy Chief of Mission, Minister and Consul-General of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, along with Mr. Bae JunHyoung, Commercial Attache. Guests from the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Trade Association were also seated amongst exclusive invited customers for an evening of discovery.
Themed 'G80 - A New Awakening', the private event was held on 31st August at FOO'D by Davide Oldani, a one-star Michelin Italian restaurant. The event was to showcase the luxury brand Genesis, which has been renamed under the Hyundai Motor Company and marketed as a distinct standalone entity. The Genesis line carries two models currently, the luxury long-wheel G90 (not available for Singapore), the executive sedan G80 (available for Singapore) and the G70 compact sedan, which will premier in South Korea this month.
The upcoming G70 launch signals that the Genesis brand was created for a new generation of savvy consumers, those who seek bespoke luxury without the exorbitance and a single philosophy, excellence. With two sport utility vehicles and one coupe lined up for production by 2021, the Genesis G80 is just at the dawn of new luxury.
