McLaren Automotive hosted its first ever owners' track day in Australia, hosting 21 VIP clients at the iconic Philip Island Circuit.

McLaren Automotive this week hosted its first ever owners' track day in Australia, hosting 21 VIP clients at the iconic Philip Island Circuit for a day of exhilarating, on-track driving. Proving McLaren ownership goes beyond the satisfaction of possessing one of the world's best cars, the marque is bringing its unparalleled driving and lifestyle experiences to Australia.

The track day, held at the Philip Island Circuit, was the first ever to be held for McLaren owners in Australia
The day's programme mirrored owners' track days held in other areas of the world, by offering owners the chance to experience the thrill of driving in one of 29 McLarens. The introduction of this annual event is testament to McLaren Automotive's dedication to its customers and the growing interest seen in the McLaren marque in Australia.

George Biggs, Managing Director of Asia Pacific at McLaren Automotive said, "This event marks the first ever McLaren owner's day to take place in Australia. It is an important milestone for us as it has always been our focus to bring the exhilaration of driving to our customers. Every McLaren is built to be driven and enjoyed, and hosting it here on the Philip Island Circuit provides the best opportunity for our owners to do so. Besides the Owner's Day event, McLaren owners in Australia may look forward to more driving programmes in the near future as we definitely have an exciting line up of activities in 2018."

Kenny Brack, Test and Development Driver for McLaren Automotive, said, "Getting behind the wheel of a McLaren is always an exhilarating experience for me, and nowhere is this more apparent than pushing it on track. I have seen some of these amazing cars through the development stages and to drive them on the track with McLaren owners who are also passionate about driving is absolutely incredible."
