Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the updated C-Class Coupe and Cabriolet, with a sharper design, digital cockpit and new engine options.

Just a few weeks after the world premiere of the saloon and estate, the two-door Coupe and Cabriolet versions of the C-Class have been unveiled. The two-door models also benefit from extensive revisions that increase sportiness and driving pleasure, along with a sharper exterior design.

The four-cylinder engines feature EQ Boost, offering a 48V on-board electrical boost for additional driving pleasure
The new look C-Class combines emotionality with intelligence. The vehicle's appearance is defined in particular by its front and tail end and the design of the head lights and taillights. The front design exudes sportiness and lifestyle at first glance.

Powerful styling elements such as the new bumper and the standard-fit diamond radiator grille lend the two-door C-Class models an individual character. LED High Performance head lights are now standard. The rear appears broad and agile, thanks to more accentuated all-LED taillights and twin tailpipes.

The enhanced interior now benefits from a 12.3-inch digital cockpit, a larger 10.25-inch media display as well as a new multi-function steering wheel with touch-control buttons. The lounge atmosphere is enhanced thanks to ambient lighting with 64 colour choices.

The C-Class Coupe and Cabriolet features new four-cylinder engines, some of which come equipped with a 48V on-board electrical boost (EQ Boost) to provide sporty driving pleasure with high efficiency. The C200 and C200 4MATIC models are powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine developing 181bhp and 280Nm of torque. The AMG C43 4MATIC variant is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 engine developing 385bhp and 520Nm of torque.

The updated cabin benefits from a digital cockpit, a larger media screen and a new multi-function steering wheel
The new Dynamic Body Control suspension allow the driver to individually configure the driving experience. Damping characteristics are adjustable in three stages. In conjunction with Dynamic Body Control, the vehicle is equipped with a Sports Direct-Steer system.

This combines a variable ratio dependent on the steering angle for highly precise, agile reactions, with speed-dependent electromechanical power assistance for pleasantly smooth handling.

Future-oriented driving assistance systems from Mercedes-Benz with S-Class functions and cooperative driver support are now also available in the C-Class Coupe and Cabriolet.

These systems include Active Distance Control Distronic, Active Lane Change Assist, Active Emergency Stop Assist, Active Steering Assist and Active Brake Assist. Combined with improved camera and radar systems, the C-Class is able to operate semi-autonomously in certain situations.
