Dunlop has launched its new Veuro VE303 tyre in Singapore on 14 October. The premium comfort tyre was launched at an event set at the Pool Garden at Marina Mandarin.

The Japanese-made Veuro VE303 sets to replace the current Veuro VE302, and promises various improvements over its predecessor.

These improvements include improved quietness and steering stability, as well as improved wet grip performance and wear life.

The Veuro VE303 also boasts superior fuel efficient properties, and an all-new construction that reduces tyre noise and vibration levels while driving.

Marcus Lim, General Manager of Binter & Co. Pte Ltd (Binter) that distributes Dunlop tyres in Singapore, said at the launch event, "We are delighted to bring in this latest addition to the Dunlop product lineup in Singapore as the Dunlop Veuro VE303 tyre not only offers premium comfort, but features enhanced engineering for better all-round performance."

The VE303's new construction and pattern reduces tyre noise that sees an improvement of 19% over its already leading silent predecessor. enhancements can also be observed from steering stability as well as wet braking performance.

A new compound that combines silica with modified polymer in the VE303 also helps to improve wet grip performance due to its adhesive properties.

Also, an increased groove volume by up to 7% compared to the VE302 allows for improved drainage performance in wet weather.

Motorists concerned over fuel consumption as well as tyre wear would also appreciate the VE303's improved wear life of 25% through thread rigidity and hybrid band that prevents unnecessary thread movements.
