Audi fields four RS3 LMS cars in FIA World Touring Car Cup

Audi Sport customer racing tackles the second season of the FIA World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) with a strong driver quartet. The Audi Sport drivers Gordon Shedden, Jean-Karl Vernay and Frederic Vervisch will again helm the Audi RS3 LMS. Niels Langeveld joins the lineup as a newcomer to the brand's driver squad.
Niels Langeveld has performed consistently well over the last two years. Last season, he celebrated two victories in the fight for the title and finished the season as the best RS3 LMS driver in a 28-strong field on third place. He will team up with Frederic Vervisch to compete for Comtoyou Team Audi Sport, of whom scored seven podium results in the FIA WTCR.
The Leopard Racing Team Audi Sport squad will remain unchanged. Gordon Shedden made his debut with Audi Sport last year, with his most notable results a pole position, one victory and a third place. He will again be joined in the cockpit by his French teammate Jean-Karl Vernay. At the wheel of an Audi RS3 LMS, he netted the sixth championship title of his career in the Benelux Touring Car Championship and achieved second in the Europe Touring Car Series.
