More than 10,000 registrations for the Volkswagen ID. 3

At a press event held in Berlin, Volkswagen launched pre-booking in Europe for the first model in its new full-electric ID. model family, the ID.3. Customers' interest in the special edition, the ID.3 1^st, which is limited to 30,000 vehicles, is significantly exceeding the brand's expectations.

Demand was so strong that Volkswagen's IT systems were unable to handle the large number of users accessing the system at the same time. Nevertheless, more than 10,000 registrations were received throughout Europe during the first 24 hours.

The pre-booking special edition ID.3 1^st has a Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure range of up to 420km. Volkswagen is offering pre-bookers who purchase a ID.3 1^st in Europe the possibility of charging electric power at no cost for the first year up to a maximum of 2,000kWh at all public charging points connected to the Volkswagen charging app WeCharge, under the pan-European rapid charging network IONITY.
