The all new 10th generation Honda Accord has officially arrived

Boot space has been increased to 573 litres
The new Accord features next generation Honda design, with a new body structure that is lighter and more rigid. This is achieved by using 29% ultra-high-strength steel, the most in any current mass-produced Honda car.

The latest generation of Honda's Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure with crash stroke front frame, tailor-tempered rear frame memers, and the extensive use of structural adhesives also contribute to the overall increased rigidity, cabin quietness and weight reduction.

The new Accord also utilises a more sophisticated chassis design that
better isolates and manages varying road inputs, improving handling precision, ride quality and cabin quietness, while also delivering outstanding high-speed stability and control.

The Accord is powered by a 198bhp 1.5-litre turbocharged engine
Cabin quietness is further enhanced by a comprehensive sound-insulating package that includes full underbody covers, front and rear fender and engine compartment insulators, alloy wheels with Honda-proprietary resonator technology, sound-absorbing carpet, acoustic laminated windshield glass, front door acoustic glass, and a new, three-microphone Active Noise Control system.

Powering the new Accord is a turbocharged 1.5-litre DOHC dual Variable Timing Control engine that produces 198bhp and 260Nm of torque, paired to a Continuously Variable Transmission. A host of new technologies help to deliver immediate and powerful response while still achieving excellent fuel efficiency.

The Accord comes equipped with the full suite of Honda Sensing safety and driver assistance technologies
The all new Accord also features a suite of Honda Sensing safety and driver assistance technologies as standard. These include Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Departure Warning, Road Departure Mitigation and Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Following, just to name a few.

These new technologies and features are wrapped up in a package that focuses on the fundamentals of proportion and stance. The new Accord is lower and wider than its predeccessor and has a longer wheelbase, and this new design offers the car a more sporty and athletic appearance.

These new proportions also mean that the Accord delivers more space than before. The 55mm additional wheelbase offers rear passengers an addtional 44mm of legroom, while boot space has also increased from 450 litres to 573 litres.

The more upmarket cabin features a new 8.0-inch Display Audio touch interface
The cabin has also been made more upmarket. The new soft-touch instrument panel features an ultra-thin profile and three-tier design. A more intricately contoured sport inspired steering wheel features deep-set thumb rests and paddle shifters.

The newly designed seats also feature taller shoulder bolstering for a sportier appearance and improved lateral support, and the driver's seat now has eight-way power adjustment with lumbar support.

Modern equipment in the Accord's cabin include a 7.0-inch TFT driver's meter, a new 8.0-inch Display Audio touchscreen interface, more intuitive, smartphone-like features and functionality including customisable app tiles and home-screen shortcuts, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Additional new and improved connected-car technologies available on the Accord include wireless device charging, Bluetooth connectivity and USB charging ports.

The all new Honda Accord is currently on sale, as is covered by an exclusive five-year unlimited mileage warranty from Kah Motor.
