Porsche has unveiled the specifications for the new 2020 Porsche Macan GTS.
Porsche's Active Suspension Management damping control system has also been specially tuned for the new Macan GTS. The chassis has also been lowered by 15mm for greater lateral dynamics. Adaptive air suspension is optionally available, which lowers the chassis by a further 10mm.
Combined with the standard 20-inch RS Spyder Design wheels and the generously sized cast iron brakes, the new Macan GTS will impress with the agility and responsiveness of a true sports car. As an option, deceleration can also be further improved by means of the Porsche Surface Coated Brake wich features a tungsten carbide coating, or the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake.
Darkened three-dimensional rear lights LED light bar distinguish the GTS version
The standard Sport Design package with the GTS brings with it new front and rear trim, as well as new side skirts to give the car a more aggresive appearance.
The front fascia is characterised by black painted elements - a distinguishing feature of all Porsche GTS models. The LED head lights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) and the three-dimensional rear lights and the LED light bar have also been darkened. The LED head lights can be optionally ordered in black with PDLS Plus.
In the cabin, Alcantara features on the seat centre panels, while the centre console armrests and door panels are now finished in brushed aluminum. The multifunction sport steering wheel features rim covered smooth leather as standard.
GTS exclusive sport seats feature eight-way adjustment and pronounced side bolsters for stable support during dynamic cornering, while the optional GTS interior package brings with it leather with Carmine Red or Chalk stitching plus additional Alcantara features, a Bose Surround Sound system, and a smartphone tray with inductive charging. Park Assist including Surround View, a heated windshield, and an ioniser are available as optional equipment to improve comfort.
