Komoco Motors Pte Ltd, distributor of Hyundai automotive, has introduced its latest subcompact crossover at the Singapore Motor Show 2020.

The Venue features modern styling and bold design, and is a perfect fit for those seeking a combination of style and versatility. A cascading front grille is flanked by cube-shaped head lights and daytime running lights. The Venue is available with either 17-inch alloys or the standard 15-inch wheels.

The Venue also features an advanced infotainment system that utilises an 8.0-inch touchscreen display. The system has both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility for intuitive operation of smartphone functions, including app-based navigation, audio streaming and voice-controlled search capability.

The Venue comes as standard with a 60/40 split flat folding backseat to deliver maximum everyday utility. The 355-litre boot also features a covering shelf for added privacy.

Convenience features are abound in the Venue, ranging from the dual USB ports, a rear-view camera, as well as Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity.

The Venue is powered by Hyundai's Smartstream Gamma 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine, which features dual port fuel injection to deliver 121bhp and 154Nm of torque. The engine has received numerous upgrades including a High Tumble Combustion system and an Integrated Thermal Management System, all designed to give the unit improved fuel economy while retaining power and torque.

Power is sent to the wheels via an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), Hyundai's proprietary continuously variable automatic. The internally developed IVT offers a shfit control strategy that enhances shift responses through the continuous range of gear ratios, providing for a smooth transition of engine operating speeds and improved fuel economy.
