In the first round of bidding for February, Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices prices fell across all categories.
Premiums for Cat A, for cars up to 1,600cc in engine capacity and with an output of no more than 130bhp, decreased by $5,000 (14.3%) and ended at $30,010.
COE premiums fell across the board for the first bidding round of February
In Cat E, the open category, premiums decreased by $2,600 (6.9%), and closed at $34,900.
The drop in COE premiums for this bidding round may be due to the fact that those shopping for new cars would have likely already made their purchases at the concluded Singapore Motor Show and during the days leading up to the Chinese New Year.
