Bugatti has unveiled the new Chiron Pur Sport via a digital presentation from the company's headquarters in Molsheim.

At the front, the Chiron Pur Sport sports wide air inlets and an enlarged horseshoe intake on a longer splitter, while the back is dominated by a static rear spoiler and a larger diffuser.

An optional split paintwork design is also offered, which will finish the bottom of the car in exposed carbon fibre for a visually flatter car.

On the interior, Bugatti has upholstered large surfaces with Alcantara to save weight and ensure better grip. Contrasting cross-stitching also adds colour highlights, as does the dynamic pattern in the Alcantara fabric.

The weight of the Chiron Pur Sport has been reduced by 50kg compared to the Bugatti Chiron, while sophisticated aerodynamics components - including a 1,900mm wide rear spoiler - ensure increased downforce.

Newly developed high-performance Sport Cup 2 R tyres from Michelin, sized 285/30 R20 at the front and 355/25 R21 at the rear also serve to provide outstanding grip even at high cornering speeds.

The Chiron Pur Sport also gets closer gear ratios to enable shorter gear jumps. The maximum engine speed of the 1,479bhp W16 unit has been increased by 200rpm to 6,900rpm. It now develops 1,600Nm of torque.

The chassis setup of the new car now also features firmer springs, with an adaptive damping control strategy geared towards performance as well as modified camber values.

The magnesium Aero wheels are now 4kg lighter each for reduced unsprung mass. Optional Aero wings ensure optimum wheel ventilation and also improve aerodynamics. A new Sport+ driving mode also intervenes later in the Electronic Stability Programme for an improved driving experience on dry roads, enabling the driver to deviate from the ideal line or drift slightly.
