Hyundai unveils the new Avante in Singapore

Komoco Motors has introduced the all new 2021 Hyundai Avante to Singapore. Two trims are available locally: The Avante 1.6 S, and the Avante 1.6 Elite.
Produced in Ulsan, Korea, the new Hyundai Avante showcases Hyundai's next-generation 'Sensuous Sportiness' design identity, as well as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

Despite the reduction in vehicle height and the sloping roofline, the new Avante still offers increased front headroom and the same amount of rear headroom as its predecessor.
At the front, a parametric-jewel-pattern grille integrates the turn-signals while sharing an integrated architecture with the headlamps.
And at the rear, the tail lamps now create a 'H' logo-like shape, enhancing the coupe-like look of the car. Bold Parametric-jewel body surfaces also run along the flank of the new Avante.

The interior sports an 'immersive cocoon' layout that envelops the driver like an airplane cockpit. While slim high-tech air-conditioning vents add to the modern ambiance. A unique cornering grab handle for the passenger meanwhile, subtly hints at the sporting abilities of the vehicle.
The Avante is powered by the 121bhp SmartStream Gamma II 1.6-litre engine. The car sports dual-port fuel injection and is paired with a continuously variable transmission for a claimed fuel consumption of 18.5km/L. Peak torque from the engine meanwhile is 154Nm, enough to see the Hyundai Avante reaching 100km/h from a standstill in 10.4 seconds.

Lowered seat heights (25mm for front seats, 20mm for rear seats) has also led to a lower centre of gravity, increasing driving stability and making the driver feel more connected to the car.
Hyundai states that the suspension of the Avante has been tuned to deliver a car that feels taut yet comfortable while minimising unwanted body roll and maximising wheel impact absorption.
The Hyundai Avante also offers a new array of standard SmartSense advanced safety technologies, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist and Lane Departure Warning, as well as Blind-spot Collision Avoidance Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist amongst others.
