The Ford Ranger Raptor, Ford's expression of what an off-road truck should be like, is now available in Singapore at Regent Motors.

Ford Motor Company together with Regent Motors, have launched the all new Ford Ranger Raptor in Singapore. With a distinctive Ford Performance DNA at its core, the Ranger Raptor pushes limits in technology, innovation and driving excitement, setting a new benchmark with its off-road capabilities.

The Ford Ranger Raptor sports a headturning exterior look that exudes toughness as well as a level of capability and off-road performance never before seen in the mid-size pickup truck segment.

Built for high-impact off-road encounters, the Raptor's frame is made of high-strength low-alloy steel optimised for off-road performance
Christopher Chin, Managing Director, Vantage Automotive said, "Ford Performance vehicles bring a different type of customer into our showrooms, and the Ranger Raptor delivers bold and aggressive styling matched with immense off-road capabilities, that totally rewrite rules for the 4x4 pickup segment."

The Ranger Raptor attracts customers looking for the best of performance to deliver immense off-road capabilities without compromising on vehicle design.

The Ranger Raptor's bold and tough exterior boasts Ford Performance DNA with iconic Ford block-letter grille and muscular haunches, while its imposing stance with 283mm of ground clearance and 150mm wider front and rear track shows that this is a serious off-road performance truck.

The aggressive look is further enhanced with the 17-inch forged aluminium bead-lock capable wheels and 33-inch all-terrain tyres that boast a precise tread pattern, longer tread life, and tougher side walls. The flared shape of the fenders have been designed to accommodate the long travel suspension and off-road tyres.

The contoured sports seats are designed and trimmed in Technical Suede for maximum grip and support while driving off-road or on-road
On the inside, The body-contoured sports seats are designed and trimmed in Technical Suede for maximum grip, providing optimum support during off-road driving or while driving in town. Other details on the seats include blue stitching and leather accents, while the instrument cluster sports red needles for the dials.

The steering wheel features perforated leather hand grip sections paired with magnesium paddle shifters. The Raptor logo is debossed into the spoke bezel of the steering wheel and together with a red stripe at the top middle of the steering wheel to act as an 'on-centre' marker.

The Raptor is powered by a new 2.0-litre sequential Bi-Turbocharged diesel engine that produces 210bhp and 500Nm of torque and offers both high performance and efficiency, thanks to its combination of small, high pressure turbo and large, low-pressure turbo that work to provide optimal performance throughout the engine speed range.

The Ranger Raptor also comes with Ford's latest 10-speed automatic transmission to deliver more top-end power, more low-end torque, improved acceleration, and quicker gear changes.

The Terrain Management System has six pre-set driving modes, Normal, Sport, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud/Sand, Rock and Baja, all at the turn of a dial
Under the skin, the Ranger Raptor's chassis is newly developed and extensively modified for high speeds and endurance off-road. Built to withstand high-impact off-road encounters, the frame consists of various grades of high-strength low-alloy steel optimised for off-road performance.

To underline its off-road racing credentials, the Ranger Raptor's Terrain Management System (TMS) includes an exciting Baja mode, inspired by Mexico's famous Baja Desert Rally, which enables ultra-responsive, high-speed off-road performance.

The Ranger Raptor's off-road capability is enhanced by sophisticated Position Sensitive Damping shock absorbers exclusively manufactured by FOX. These are designed to provide higher damping forces at full bounce and rebound, and lower damping forces in the mid-travel zone for outstanding on-road comfort.

The braking system on the Ranger Raptor offers extreme stopping power through new and bespoke components. The front twin-piston callipers have been increased by 9.5mm in diameter and feature ventilated discs measuring 332mm x 32mm, while rear brakes are ventilated 332mm x 24mm discs with a 54mm calliper.
