  • The refreshed Hyundai i30 Hatchback - sleek, safe and more efficient

The refreshed Hyundai i30 Hatchback, sporting a new design and new features in its most recent product update, is here to bring excitement and fun to owners.

Komoco Motors Pte Ltd has introduced the refreshed Hyundai i30 Hatchback featuring a new design, advanced SmartSense safety features and an efficient SmartStream turbocharged 1.0-litre engine. Globally, the new Hyundai i30 is the DNA car for Hyundai Motor representing the core of the brand in Europe.

It was designed, developed, tested and manufactured in Europe to offer customers highest value. In particular, the first i30 N has launched N Performance for Hyundai and will continue to lead the DNA for Hyundai's high performance models.

The new i30 Hatchback is a safe and reliable car that offers modern features, efficient powertrains and good looks
The i30 Hatchback's exterior design is both bold and sleek, with the front characterised by a wide-looking, modern stance. The wider dark chrome grille features an accentuated 3D pattern that emphasises the agile look of the car. New, slimmer headlamps with Multifaceted Reflector (MFR) LED technology and new V-shaped signature LED daytime running lights complete the renewed, modern front end design.

At the rear, the i30 Hatchback is enhanced with a new bumper design, which was developed to improve aerodynamic performance. The LED rear combination lamps create a V-shape for a symmetrical effect between the front and the back. The new i30 Hatchback is now available with new, redesigned diamond-cut 16-inch alloy wheels that round off the side view, with Michelin tyres as standard equipment.

The new i30 Hatchback comes with four new colour choices - Shimmering Silver, Dark Knight, Silky Bronze and Sunset Red. In addition, three existing colours will continue to be available - Polar White, Phantom Black and Engine Red.

The new i30 Hatchback upped the safety ante in the C-segment hatchback segment by offering an enhanced, improved Hyundai Smart Sense safety package. This package makes the i30 Hatchback the safest model in its segment. Lane Following Assist automatically adjusts steering to help keep the vehicle centred in its lane.

While the i30 Hatchback only has a turbocharged 1.0-litre three cylinder engine, it produces 118bhp and 200Nm of torque low down in the rev range
The Rear Cross Traffic Collision-avoidance Assist system can activate the brakes to avoid a collision when the car is in reverse. And also new to the i30 Hatchback is Leading Vehicle Departure Alert, a system which warns the driver when the vehicle ahead of them starts moving forward.

The rear Blind Spot Detection (BSD) system has received an upgrade. The BSD warns the driver if there is another vehicle in their blind spot - and now, with Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, it can activate the engine brake in order to avoid a collision.

Front Collision-Avoidance Assistance (FCA) has been improved to recognise bicycles on the road. This is the first time in Singapore that the new Hyundai i30 Hatchback comes with Smart Sense features such as FCA with pedestrian detection, Driver Attention Warning and Lane Keeping Assist.

Smart Cruise Control (SCC) makes highway and long-distance driving more comfortable. Using a radar sensor mounted on the lower front grille, the SCC system maintains a set distance from the vehicle ahead in varied traffic conditions by automatically adjusting vehicle speed as needed.

The interior of the i30 Hatchback now features an 8.0-inch infotainment screen and a 7.0-inch digital gauge cluster
The new i30 Hatchback features state-of-the-art connectivity. A new 7.0-inch digital cluster and a new 8.0-inch touchscreen enable a more modern and individual driving experience. It also offers full compatibility with Android Auto and Apple Car Play.

The new i30 Hatchback comes with an enhanced SmartStream powertrain to offer customers a more pleasurable driving experience. Hyundai has introduced the 1.0-litre T-GDI petrol engine with 118bhp paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
