Here's a reason to visit Italy after COVID-19 travel restrictions lift - Lamborghini has renewed its partnership with Bologna's international Guglielmo Marconi Airport, delivering a new follow-me car, a Lamborghini Huracan EVO. The 631bhp supercar will guide arriving and departing aircraft until 7 January 2022.
Follow-me cars fulfil the important function of marshalling taxiing aircraft, serving as a moving marker for aircraft to follow as they transit across the airport - a fitting job for the distinctive, highly-visible Huracan.
The Huracan EVO follow-me car features a livery specially designed by Lamborghini's design department, Centro Stile. Coloured in Verde Turbine Matt and topped off by a chequered design pattern, it is reminiscent of the utility vehicles that dot the airport's landscape.
The exterior is completed with the words 'Follow Me in Our Beautiful Country' highlighted by the Italian flag - a visual spectacle for visiting tourists.
