Other unique styling elements of the 911 Sport Classic include its double bubble roof, similar to the design on the Carrera GT supercar, a rear end that’s 44mm wider than the Carrera S on which it’s based on, a "SportDesign" front apron, clear lens taillights, bi-xenon headlights with black surrounds, and an exclusive Sport Classic Grey paint scheme.
Inside, the interior is decked out with sports seats trimmed in brown woven leather. Other unique touches include a dashboard upholstered in "Espresso Nature" leather, an Alcantara roof lining and bright detailing on the shifter and handbrake. The Sports Chrono Package Plus will be offered as well.
The 911 Sport Classic will be powered by a 3.8-litre six-cylinder engine producing 408bhp. This extra power comes from a new resonance intake manifold which features "six vacuum-controlled switching flaps", which optimizes the oscillation of air in the intake manifold for a better cylinder charge and ensures that there is the perfect amount of air in the combustion chamber at all times to optimize torque.
This allows the 911 Sport Classic to go from 0-100km/h in 4.6 seconds, on to a top speed of 302km/h, while achieving a fuel consumption figure of 10.6 litres per 100km. Along with the standard six-speed manual transmission, the 911 Sport Classic also boasts ceramic composite brakes, a PASM sports suspension that lowers the car 20mm, a mechanical rear axle differential and high performance tyres.
