The Renault Arkana is now available in Singapore, combining the sleek and sporty couple styling with the strong stance of an SUV.

The Renault Arkana is now available here in Singapore.

Renault's first coupe SUV, the Arkana sports a gently sloping roof and window lines at the rear for an agile, sporty look. These combine with sport skirting at the front and rear, skid plates, side steps, and those muscular wheel arch fenders and a rear lip spoiler for that bold and strong SUV stance.

148bhp from a hybrid 1.6-litre drivetrain allows the Renault Arkana to reach 100km/h from a standstill in 10.8 seconds
Further aiding the strong looks of the Renault Arkana are its Pure Vision LED head lights framed by signature sculpted C-shaped LED daytime-running lights, identifying the car as unmistakably a Renault. Wide, C-shaped rear LED lights at the rear meanwhile extend across the entire width of the tailgate, adding to the car's imposing look.

The Renault Arkana is being launched here with in five body colours: Pearl White, Metal Black, Metallic Grey, Flame Red and the new Zanzibar Blue. A Black dual-toned roof and 17-inch 'Bahamas' further help the car to stand out from the crowd.

Under the bonnet, the Singapore-bound Renault Arkanas also come with a new-generation 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine paired with a hybrid system that comprises of a 48bhp electric motor and a 20bhp high-voltage starter generator.

Singapore-bound models will get a 7.0-inch infotainment screen and 7.0-inch instrument cluster in the cabin
An innovative clutchless multi-mode dogbox transmission completes the powertrain, mating the power from the engine and electric motors for smooth gear shifts.

This new drivetrain allows the Renault Arkana to travel up to speeds of 75km/h on just electric power alone. Renault states the car will achieve a fuel consumption figure of 20km/L.

In the cabin, the Renault Arkana gets a 7.0-inch customisable coloured screen display that houses its Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible multimedia and navigation system.

Rear passengers meanwhile will be able to enjoy up to 211mm of knee room and 305mm of foot space, which are claimed by Renault to be leading figures for the segment. A 480-litre boot will see to all your cargo and shopping.
