Skoda has released the first two design sketches of the updated Karoq SUV.

The two sketches show the Karoq is set to get a new grille up front. Wider than its predecessor, the grille now features double slats as well as a new hexagonal design, with a wide air intake underneath. Flanking out from new grille meanwhile are head lights that now adopt a slimmer design. The daytime running light signature for the Skoda Karoq has also been split into two separate elements each.

And at the back, there is now a longer rear spoiler and a visually updated rear apron with a black diffuser. Like the head lights, the taillights have been redesigned so they are now slimmer, bringing emphasis to the vehicle's width. The crystalline structures design flourish for the rear lights have been retained, as have their characteristic C-shaped graphic.

The freshened Skoda Karoq will make its global premiere in a digital media presentation on 30 November 2021.
