The Fiat Singapore site here has started accepting requests for test drives of the new Fiat 500.

The adorable little supermini arrives in Singapore equipped with a 0.9-litre (yes, that's right!) two-cylinder (you also read that right!) turbocharged engine pushing out 84bhp and 145Nm of torque. Power is put to the road via a five-speed single-clutch automated gearbox.

Those may look like paltry figures but with a stated kerb weight of 930kg, the supermini is still able to make it to 100km/h from a standstill in just 11 seconds. And that tiny engine also allows the Fiat 500 to reach a claimed fuel economy of 26.3km/L.

Local authorised dealer EuroAutomobile is offering the car here with a choice of eight different exterior paint finishes along with two different 16-inch rims.

In the cabin, you'll find a central 7.0-inch high-definition touchscreen equipped with Fiat's Uconnect infotainment system and compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A 7.0-inch fully digital driver's instrument cluster pairs with this infotainment system.

The Fiat 500 will set you back a cool $129,888, and comes with a three-year, 60,000km warranty.
