Skoda has revealed the new Enyaq Coupe alongside its sporty RS version.
The all-electric coupe SUV is offered internationally with outputs of 177bhp, 201bhp, or 261bhp, the latter coming with two motors located at either axle, while the former two will only be offered with rear-wheel drive.
The Skoda Enyaq Coupe comes with a 13-inch infotainment touchscreen in the cabin, currently the largest in Skoda's portfolio The base 177bhp model also comes with a 62kWh battery (58kWh net), while the versions with 201bhp and 261bhp will come with an 82kWh battery (77kWh net) delivering a WLTP range of 545km.
The Skoda Enyaq Coupe RS iV meanwhile, will come with the 82kWh battery delivering power to a dual-motor setup that delivers in total 295bhp and 460Nm of torque. Those figures mean that the car will be able to accelerate from zero to 100km/h in just 6.5 seconds.
Skoda states that fast charging the variants equipped with the 82kWh battery will take only 29 minutes to reach from zero to 80% state-of-charge. Charging via alternating current meanwhile, can be done at up to 11kWh and will take a claimed six to eight hours.
Standout features for the new Enyaq Coupe include its gently sloping roofline, which helps contribute to the car's high aerodynamic efficiency, which stands at just 0.234Cd.
A total of 570 litres of boot space is offered, alongside an electric tailgate The Enyaq Coupe also comes as standard with Skoda's largest panoramic glass roof yet, stretching from the front and nearly meeting with the rear window. Thinner than the full roof, the use of a glass roof helps preserve head room for rear passengers while delivering a light and airy cabin. Skoda states that its tinting will ensure occupants stay cool even on sunny days.
There's also a discrete sporty front apron as well as body‑coloured side skirts to set the car apart from the regular Enyaq SUV. And just like the Enyaq SUV, the coupe will also be available with Skoda's Crystal Face, which illuminates the front grille via 131 LEDs. This illuminated grille will come as standard on the Enyaq Coupe RS iV.
Speaking of which, those that opt for the Skoda Enyaq Coupe RS iV can also look forward to sporty touches on their electric coupe SUV that include an all-black finish for the grille surround, window trim, and rear diffuser. A full-length red reflector also features on the rear bumper, as is tradition for Skoda's RS models. The car also has its ride height dropped by 15mm at the front, and 10mm at the rear.
As with the regular Enyaq SUV a range of interior Design Selections are being offered with the Enyaq Coupe, allowing customers to opt from different styles for the vehicle interior.
The Skoda Enayq RS iV will come with a sportier front apron, alongside the illuminated grille as standard Highlights of the entry-level Design Selection 'Loft' includes the use of easy-to-clean materials in a combination of grey and black shades for a modern and homely feel, while the 'Lodge' specification will finish the seats in a material made of 40% natural new wool with the Woolmark Company quality seal and 60% polyester from recycled PET bottles.
Those that opt for the 'Suite' selection can look forward to cognac-coloured leather seat upholstery, tanned through an eco-friendly process using olive leaf extracts, and without the use of any chemicals. Stone-grey piping and contrasting stitching finish off the look with style.
