  • MINI unveils a new Pat Moss Edition for International Women's Day

The MINI Pat Moss Edition pays tribute to Pat Moss, who won the international Tulip Rally in 1962, piloting a classic Mini.

MINI is paying homage to female Racing Driver Pat Moss, who won the international Tulip Rally - racing from the Dutch municipality of Noordwijk to the French Riviera and back again - all in the classic Mini Cooper.

The MINI Pat Moss Edition will be available for the MINI Coopers S 3-Door, as well as the MINI Cooper S 5-Door and the MINI John Cooper Works variants.

The front side panel of the MINI Pat Moss Edition contains the details of the TulipRally alongside a tulip motif within its side scuttles
Design features for the special edition car include a white horizontal bonnet stripe, with the letters '737 ABL', the registration number of the classic Mini that won the 1962 Tulip Rally. The corner of the car also sports Pat Moss' signature.

The car also comes with MINI's Multitone Roof, which is available in a Chilli Red to Melting Silver and Jet Black colour combination. This colour scheme will pair with the car's Pepper White or Midnight Black metallic exterior pain finishes, alongside the red exterior mirror caps.

A stylised tulip also pays homage to the aforementioned rally win, appearing on the car's C-pillars and side scuttles, along with a 'Pat Moss' inscription. Also carrying the flower theme are the car's wheel hub covers, which feature an exclusive design with a graphic which is based on the outline of the typical Dutch flower and the MINI wordmark.

The car also sports the details of the Noordwijk - Monte Carlo - Noordwijk route, including the fact that the rally covers a distance of 2,500km, alongside the historic car's starting number '104' on its front side panels.

The MINI Pat Moss Edition also gets its namesake's signature on the Piano Black interior surface in the cabin. The sports leather steering wheel here bears the emblem in the form of a tulip graphic on its lower spoke. The special edition car is set for international market launch come May 2022.
