Mercedes‑Benz Vans has announced that it has sold its seven millionth commercial van globally, an eSprinter, which was handed over to a customer in Germany.
The jubilee customer that took the keys to eSprinter was a bakery in Saxony, Germany, a third-generation family business.
The eSprinter Panel Van offers up a permissible gross weight of 3,500kg in the high roof version and is equipped with an integrated fast-charging function for recharging the battery from 10% to 80% in around 25 minutes. The load volume of 11,000-litre is available in its entirety as the batteries are installed in the vehicle’s underfloor. The Mercedes-Benz eSprinter comes with a 114bhp electric motor that drives the front wheels and develops a maximum of 295Nm of torque.
