After clinching an overall P2 position in the first round of MCS 2022, the Skuber Race Team from Singapore has returned with yet another successful outing at the second round of the competition at Sepang.
After securing P1 in qualifying with a time of two minutes and 27.4 seconds, Jonathan Xie from the Skuber Race Team accelerated ahead with double first place wins for Race one and two of this second round. This placed Xie at the top of the MCS 2022 championship race, leading with 51 points under his belt. Round three of the MCS 2022 is scheduled for 23 July while round four of the competition is set for 17 September 2022.
The Skuber Race Team was founded in 2022 as a partnership between SK Garage and Uber Garage. With vast experience in motorsports and building race cars by both the workshops, the Skuber Race Team believes that they will collectively be able to bring the team to new level of competitiveness.
The team aims to promote motorsports participation in Singapore by taking part in regional races. Coinciding with the opening up of borders, MCS 2022 and Sepang 1000KM are on the calendar this year.
