Max Adventure, a team of expedition specialists, have embarked on a unique challenge, taking the fully electric Kia EV6 from Britain's lowest road to the highest road on a single charge.

The Kia EV6 GT Line S AWD completed the 336km drive, completing a total ascent of 850m along the way. It even finished the journey with 172km to spare. To make things more interesting, the Max Adventure team then decided to continue to Britain's highest public house, The Tan Hill Inn, proving a fitting end to the challenge as the car had left Britain's lowest pub at the start of the day.

The team was impressed with the EV6's capabilities, especially its recuperation's prowess
Project Leader Mac Mackenney remarked at the astonishing capability of the Kia EV6, pointing out how impressive the energy recuperation system was with the car putting back 16km back into the battery's charge when descending just eight kilometres.

The Kia EV6 combines performance with the ability to do long distance travels in comfort. It includes an ultra-fast 800V charging architecture coupled with great real world driving range. The all electric motor of the Kia EV6 also pushes up to 321bhp and 605Nm of torque, giving it the firepower to scale Britain's highest road.

Max Adventure's adventure with the Kia EV6 marked the first time a car had undertaken the challenge, let alone an EV. Having experienced the sheer capability of an EV, the team is already planning their next adventure, which will also be completed in a battery powered machine.
