The Engler Desat will make its debut on the opening day of Salon Prive which takes place on 31 August 2022. If you have no idea what an Engler Desat is, or have never even heard of the Engler brand, we do not blame you. Neither have we.
So what exactly is an Engler Desat? Apparently, it is a superquad (basically a souped up version of a quad bike) which features a thunderous V10 engine coupled to a carbon body.
Being a V10 quad bike probably means that the Engler Desat is the fastest vehicle ever...on a farm Said carbon body has been designed, developed, aerodynamically tested and manufactured in-house at Engler, along with the complex steering system. Engler claims that this results in a quad bike that combines the visceral involvement of a superbike and the raw speed and dram of a hypercar.
Engler has stated that tyre manufacturer Michelin was an integral part in the development of their quad bike, helping the company to develop tyres capable of handing the Desat's extreme performance envelope.
Another company, Ruroc, also played a part in the vehicle's development, helping to craft a unique range of helmets to complement the Desat's design.
