The electric, seven-seater Skoda Vision 7S will the brand's biggest car ever, previewing a new design language and a highly innovative child seat design.

Skoda has unveiled its new design language with the new Skoda Vision 7S. The concept car features a new Tech-Deck face, alongside a solid underbody and aerodynamic roof lines, enhancing efficiency. A new Skoda wordmark replaces the brand's previous logo and is complemented by a new ambient light strip.

The Skoda Vision 7S is highly distinctive due to its narrow head lights which are positioned further outwards and arranged in two rows one above the other. This extends the four-eye light cluster which form a T shape. The daytime running lights extend into the wings and form the defined upper line of the T, visually framing the front of the car.

The T shape is a new element of design that will make its way to more Skoda cars in the future
On the minimalistic designed interior, sustainable materials are utilised. For example, the floor of the Skoda Vision 7S is made from recycled tires while the interior trim is coated with a fine, matt metallic layer. Fabrics used are also made of 100% recycled polyester yarns.

Being a family hauler, the car will ensure great amounts of spaciousness typical of a Skoda, as well as high levels of safety and protection. The interior is symmetrically designed to give a sense of space to all passengers in the cabin. The upper line of the instrument cluster continues into the door panels, completing the wrap around design.

An interesting feature that will please families is that the placement of the child seat. Mounted in the safest place in the vehicle and integrated into the centre console, this unique design ensures that the child seats opposite to the direction of travel.

Innovative child seat design brings peace of mind
This means that the child will always be protected, with the passengers in the second row being able to always keep an eye on the him or her.

An optional interior camera in the rear roof area can even transmit a video of the child to the central infotainment display. This makes it possible for the driver and front passengers to keep an eye on the little ones even when they are driving.
