Bentley is extending its lineup of hybrids with the addition of two new models to the Bentayga family, the Bentayga S Hybrid and Bentayga Azure Hybrid models. The two new additions mean that 50% of the complete Bentley model range are now available with some form of electrification.

The new Bentayga S Hybrid has a combined output of 456bhp from the 3.0-litre TFSI V6 petrol engine and 100kW electric motor-generator. The Bentayga S Hybrid can go from zero to 100km/h in 5.3 seconds, up to a top speed of 254km/h.

The Bentley S Hybrid is the more dynamic car of the pair, possessing a 15% stiffer damping for keener handling
Like its V8-powered stablemate, the new Bentayga S Hybrid provides an even more engaging drive, featuring sound enhancements in the engine bay complementing the sound of the V6 engine, and thus adding a more sporting character.

A 15% increase in damping stiffens the chassis and provides a platform for a more dynamic drive, while the S model's unique Hybrid Sports Exhaust brings a sporty soundtrack into the cabin. This can even be tuned to different effects for front and rear seat passengers.

On the other hand, customers who prioritise wellbeing and comfort over vehicle dynamics can opt for the Bentley Bentayga Azure Hybrid, which strives to make every journey a relaxing experience.

The Bentley Azure Hybrid, despite sharing the same powertrain, takes the pace back by a notch, emphasising wellbeing and comfort
To develop Bentley's new concept of 'wellbeing behind the wheel', the Bentley Azure development team engaged creative neuroscientist Katherine Templar-Lewis, from Kinda Studios, whose wide-ranging research on the external factors that influence stress was key in defining the 'wellbeing behind the wheel' concept that the Azure feature suite embodies.

Considering everything from light to the patterns we see around us, to the impact of in-car posture and the importance and thermal comfort, Katherine's research paired with Bentley's own measurements to give science based analysis to the relaxing experience of travelling in a Bentley, as a driver or a passenger.
