The average monthly supply of COEs for the quarter of Nov 2022 to Jan 2023 will drop to 3,040 from the current quarter's supply of 3,526.

The LTA has announced the COE supply for the quarter stretching from November 2022 to January 2023.
The total average monthly quota across all COE categories for the upcoming quarter will stand at 3,040. This is down from the current average monthly quota of 3,526.
The average monthly COE supply for Cat B will slip from 939 this quarter to 817 in the upcoming quarter
The COE supply for Cat A cars (up to 1,600cc and 130bhp) in the coming quarter will hit a monthly average of 915, down from the average of this quarter of 1,086.
The average monthly COE supply for Cat B (above 1,600cc or 130bhp) meanwhile, will also see a drop, averaging 817, down from the current average of 939.
These numbers are in line with the predictions we made earlier in October 2022 here.
The COE supply for Cat E, meanwhile, will drop to a monthly average of 291 from the 327 of the current quarter. COEs in this category can be used for any vehicle type except motorcycles but end up almost exclusively for bigger cars.
