SP Group (SP) and Singapore Petroleum Company (SPC) will be installing Singapore's fastest publicly available EV charger at the SPC service station at Bukit Batok. The 150kW direct current fast charger with two 75kW charging points will be installed by the first quarter of 2023. This will allow EV drivers to charge their vehicle in as little as 15 minutes.
This move came after both SP and SPC announced a partnership to install fast electric vehicle charging points at the first five SPC stations in its initial phase. The other four SPC service station locations will be 1351 Ang Mo Kio Ave 1, Bukit Merah, Sumang Link, and Tampines Ave 4. Each of these stations will have one 50kW fast charging point installed by 2023.
