Mercedes-Benz has introduced two new, elegant roof boxes which allow for easy stowing of luggages, skis, diving equipment or camping gear.

Mercedes-Benz has introduced two new elegant roof boxes, which will allow the safe and convenient stowing of luggage skis, diving equipment or camping gear. The roof boxm finished in high-gloss black, can be opened from both sides and is available in two sizes with a capacity of 430 or 590 litres, and is easy to fit thanks to its integrated fastening system.

The roof box has an organic, aerodynamic shape when compared to the preceding models. A chrome-plated, 3D Mercedes star at the front and rear emphasises the brand affiliation. Gas-pressure struts allow the lid of the roof box to be opened and closed easily on both sides.

The roof box is UV-resistant and fade-resistant, even if it gets hit by a stone while driving
Thanks to the integrated fastening system, the roof box can be easily and directly mounted, and fixed to the roof rails without using adapters. The one-lock system with triple locking on both sides ensures safe stowage. In addition, three straps inside the roof box help to optimally secure the contents.

The material of the roof box is UV-resistant and fade-resistant, even in the event of a stone impact. The roof box meets both the legal safety requirements and Mercedes' own standards, said to be comparatively stricter.

The roof box is available in two sizes. Roof box M weighs 24kg and has a capacity of 430 litres, while roof box XL weighs 28kg and has a capacity of 590 litres. Both variants are available exclusively from Mercedes-Benz.
