Automobili Pininfarina has confirmed the Battista's performance by revealing its record breaking official acceleration and braking figures for the first time.

The electric Battista's launch control technology has helped it to achieve Formula One car-beating acceleration, with the zero to 100km/h sprint completed in an astonishing 1.86s, and zero to 200km/h in just 4.79 seconds.

A car as fast as the Battista demands strong stopping power, and official tests have confirmed that the Battista is also the fastest braking EV in the world, completing 100km/h to zero in just 31m.

Thus far, the electric Battista is the most powerful Italian car ever made with 1,874bhp and 2,340Nm of torque. The car also has a top speed of 350km/h, a range of up to 476km, and is priced from $3.1 million plus local taxes.

Each Battista is the result of more than 1,250 hours of craftsmanship in Cambiano, Italy, where no more than 150 examples will be produced.

With a total of 128 million possible interior combinations alone, the Battista promises a high level of bespoke tailoring.

Clients can also choose from near unlimited levels of interior colour schemes and finishes.

This is in addition to the exterior colour combinations with bespoke detailing and exclusive aluminium 'Exterior Jewellery', and alloy wheel designs.
