Hyundai has released a video of its performance N Brand, and the RN22e and N Vision 74 rolling labs that are launching its electrified future. The video also features a glimpse of the Ioniq 5 N which makes its first official appearance, wrapped in a special camouflage pattern of pixels and checkered flags.
The video provides an inside look at the development process of the N Brand's rolling labs, which are fully functional vehicles used for research, development and verification of performance technologies pioneered by Hyundai Motorsports before application to mass production models.
The rolling labs are fully functional vehicles used to test technologies before being applied to mass production models The RN22e rolling lab is the N Brand's first performance vehicle based on Hyundai Motor's Electric-Global Modular Platform,, which is the basis of Hyundai's Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6.
The video also hows how RN22e is combining the E-GMP and other advanced technologies to achieve the N Brand's performance pillars of 'Corner Rascal', 'Racetrack Capability' and 'Everyday Sports Car'. Through RN22e, technologies are tested and verified for near-term implementation on the N Brand's first battery electric model.
