The LTA has announced that it will open a new interchange which connects Senja Road to Kranji Expressway and Bukit Timah Expressway.
The Kranji Expressway Senja Road Interchange, which provides full vehicular connection between Senja Road to Kranji Expressway and Bukit Timah Expressway come 17 December 2022. The new interchange will sport a flyover stretching across Kranji Expressway to Senja Road. The completed road interchange allows residents, primarily in Senja, Jelapang and Segar, a direct and shorter travelling route to and fro both bounds of the two expressways.
The first section of this flyover was opened to traffic on 25 September 2022, allowing outbound traffic from the areas direct and shorter travelling routes towards the Bukit Timah Expressway.
The LTA states that informational and directional traffic signs will be put up in the vicinity closer to the opening of the slip roads leading to the flyover to guide road users.
