The Seat brand has introduced the 5.3bhp MO 50 eScooter as the third model in its current MO all-electric scooter lineup.

Seat has introduced the Seat MO 50, which will join the brand's range of eScooters alongside the Seat MO 125 and Seat MO 125 Performance.

The fully electric eScooter uses a 5.3bhp electric motor fed via a lithium-ion battery pack to deliver a range of up to 172km from a single charge, along with enough storage for two helmets.

The MO 50 joins Seat's range of eScooters which currently include the MO 125 and MO 125 performance
The brushless electric motor is capable of producing a peak output of 9.7bhp of peak power and 100Nm of torque, and is integrated into the rear wheel. This motor is fed by a 5.6kWh lithium-ion battery pack.

The eScooter also has a top speed of 45km/h, which it takes just 3.8 seconds to reach when set into its Sport Mode.

The Seat MO 50 uses a front fork and single rear shock absorber to help iron out bumps in the road, while ventilated front and rear discs, with a hydraulic braking system combined with electric regeneration, deliver competent stopping ability.

The MO 50 will launch in the first quarter of 2023
Users will also be able to keep track of their vehicle all via a smartphone app, which will give information on vehicle position alongside various status updates.

The Seat MO 50 also integrates two USB ports so that users can keep their phones and other devices fully charged no matter how long they travel for.

Production of the Seat MO 50 will begin in January 2023, while its international launch is planned for the first quarter of 2023.
