Peugeot has revealed the Inception Concept.

The front element of the Inception Concept houses the recognisable claw design light signature as well as various autonomous driving sensors And backing this claim up is the fact that the Peugeot Inception Concept is already based on parent company Stellantis' STLA Large platform, one of four platforms battery-electric centred platforms which the firm will utilise to bring its multinational brands into the electric era.
Underneath the Peugeot Inception Concept, this platform deploys a total of two electric motors for all-wheel drive and bringing power up to a peak of 671bhp, allowing it to accelerate from zero to 100km/h in under three seconds.
All this comes courtesy of a 100kWh battery, which offers up a total claimed 800km range. 800V technology, meanwhile, also means users will be able to add up to 150km of additional range in just five minutes of charging. The concept is also said to be able to support wireless induction charging.

Ahead of the driver now rests a new i-Cockpit layout, which does away with a conventional steering wheel altogether in favour of a Hypersquare control system, which utilises digital electric controls and steer-by-wire technology.
The circular recesses of the Hypersquare control system will offer access to cabin settings, so you never need to take your hands off the wheel This system will also allow cabin controls to be accessed via its circular recesses and adjusted by moving the thumb only, so the driver need not remove his/her hands from the steering wheel. A tablet-type screen in the centre will then display the selected cabin settings.
