You're going to like this. Mercedes-AMG is now giving the SL a Motorsport Collectors Edition, designed to mark the end of 2022 Formula One season.
The special edition SL gets an exterior that transitions from high-tech silver metallic to obsidian black metallic Available only as a SL63 4Matic+, the Motorsport Collectors Edition SL63 comes with a distinctive colour graduation, said to mimic the look of the Mercedes-AMG Formula One car.
This special SL this transitions from high-tech silver metallic at the front, to obsidian black metallic at the rear. The car also sports the star pattern on its flanks, while Petronas-coloured contrasts feature on the front apron, side sill panels and rear diffuser.
The Motorsport Collectors Edition SL63 will also get 21-inch AMG 10 twin-spoke forged wheels in a matt black finish, complete with Petronas-coloured rim flanges.
The car also sports 20-inch rims that feature Petronas-coloured rim flanges The car also gets the AMG Aerodynamics package, completing it with larger flics on the front and rear apron as well as a larger rear diffuser.
Adding to this is the AMG Night package and the AMG Night package II, which finishes the front splitter, side sill panels, mirror caps and the decorative trim in the rear diffuser all in high-gloss black, while the radiator grille, badging and Mercedes star at the rear are finished in black chrome. The car also gets the AMG fuel filler cap finished in silver chrome with 'AMG' lettering.
AMG Performance seats, available in black nappa leather/microfibre will be offered in the cabin, featuring either a red or yellow topstitching.
A Burmester 3D surround sound system, ambient lighting, the MBUX Interior Assistant, the Driving Assistance package and the head-up display are all included as standard for this Motorsport Collectors Edition SL63.
