Renault has announced that it will soon be reviving the Espace name.
Although the nameplate has become widely associated with a spacious, family-friendly MPV, Renault states that the name will now appear on a SUV, which will be set to be available both as a five and seven-seater.
Renault states that the new Espace will remain a comfortable and innovative product. It is set to be built atop the firm's CMF-CD platform (which also underpins cars such as the Nissan X-Trail), and will make its world premiere in early 2023.
