After announcing an all-time sales record for 2021, Rolls-Royce has returned to announce that 2022 was once again a historic year for the brand, with a total of 6,021 cars delivered, an 8% increase compared to 2022.
The year saw total sales from the brand exceed 6,000 units in a single 12-month period for the first time. The firm states that the value of its bespoke commissions also reached record levels in 2022, while demand for all Rolls-Royce models remained strong, with advance orders secured far into 2023.
The firm states that this growth was achieved in almost all regions, with the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, the U.S.A and Europe especially vital.
Looking beyond sales, 2022 also saw the opening of the firm's invitation-only Private Office in Dubai, allowing the marque to bring the home of Rolls-Royce closer to its clients. The brand also unveiled its Spectre, the firm's first all-electric model in October of 2022. The first examples of the Rolls-Royce Spectre are expected to reach customers in the fourth quarter of 2023.
