Jeep celebrates 20 years of the Wrangler Rubicon

Jeep has announced that it will be launching new 20th Anniversary editions of both the Wrangler Rubicon 4xe and Wrangler Rubicon 392 in the U.S.A, in celebration of the 20 years of the Wrangler Rubicon's legendary go-anywhere capability and unequaled spirit of freedom and adventure.
The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe 20th Anniversary is based on the Rubicon 4xe model, and offers up a total of 370bhp 637Nm from its plug-in hybrid powertrain as well as 33km of silent, all-electric driving. Special touches that set the 20th Anniversary model apart include a redesigned seven-slot grille as well as red and black leather seats, and a red leather-wrapped instrument panel bolster.
The 20th Anniversary edition cars both come with a red and black interior colour scheme, alongside the use of a gorilla glass windscreen These features come alongside special 20th Anniversary decals on the bonnet, in an electric blue theme. The off-roader also gets a 12.7mm raised ride height, and 33-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain tyres and a gorilla glass windshield.
The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 20th Anniversary edition, meanwhile, is based on the Wrangler Rubicon 392 and comes powered by a 464bhp V8 which allows it to accelerates from rest to 97km/h in 4.5 seconds, making it the quickest, fastest and most powerful Wrangler.
This Jeep also gets a redesigned seven-slot grille, although the 20th anniversary graphics are here finished in a bronze-coloured theme. The car also gets the 12.7mm raised ride height, although this is paired with 35-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain tyres. An on-board air compressor, triple hoop grille guard and steel bumpers from which a winch may be attached also feature on this 20th Anniversary model.
