Lotus and British Cycling, the national governing body for cycle sport in Great Britain, have announced that they will continue their collaboration in the world of elite track cycling.
The two firms are now developing a new bike for the Great Britain Cycling Team's athletes, to be used at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The new bike will be based on the innovative Hope/Lotus track bike created for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, which won the Great Britain Cycling Team seven medals. Development for the new bike is already underway at Lotus Engineering, and will continue to embrace all the core values of all Lotus products, including of course, an emphasis on use of lightweight materials, alongside optimised aerodynamics, high performance, and world-class manufacturing.
